Swimming Jimmy

I bought a little blow up baby pool for Jimmy a few weeks ago. We have only had a chance to use it twice, as it seems every afternoon here we have a thunderstorm, or a tornado warning. So, I am posting these pictures from a few weeks ago in hopes that the Colorado weather will change to the way it usually is. This little boy wants to go splash and and try to eat grass while his mom is not looking!

10 months old and....

3 little teeth!
our boy is growing up

Messy boy

Jimmy is going through this phase where he wants to feed himself. He cries his eyes out anytime I try to spoon feed him baby food. So, now I struggle every day trying to find him meals he can pick up and feed to himself. I found some Gerber pasta dishes that I thought would be perfect for him. He loved them all, but the spaghetti one, oh my, was the messiest meal ever.
I knew this was going to be messy, so I took a before shot.

mmmm, yummy!

And Funny!

It took 2 baths to get the orange, and tomato smell out of his skin. And lots of bleach, and an overnight in the rain to clean the high chair.
Even though he loved it, I am holding off ob baby spaghetti for now.

ha ha

I want this. They remind me of being little. Maybe Jimmy would like them for his first birthday? He could share them with me too.

Jimmy and his lady friend

So anyone that knows my family well, knows about big fat. Big fat is the named given to a doll that my mom and her sisters shared. They all loved this doll so very much, that in their adult life they all searched ebay, and thrift stores for more dolls that look like the original big fat. So now everyone in the Miller family has at least one big fat in their home.
The other day Jimmy found my big fat, and it was love at first sight.
shaking hands

laughing together

whispering sweet nothings into her ear

crawling and dog food

Little Jimmy learned to crawl on Easter Sunday, at his Grandparents house. Of course, I didn't bring my camera...so no pictures of that day.

It is amazing how your entire life changes once your baby starts crawling. Every, tiny, little, microscopic, piece of fuzz goes strait into the mouth. I am not even sure how he finds anything on the floor, as I am a little nutty about vacuuming. But he does.

It is a joy watching him grow and discover new things everyday. These are a few pictures from a few weeks ago when he found Greta's (the dog) food. Yum.

Big Tub

First time in the big boy tub!

These pictures really don't show how much Jimmy loved his bath. He laughed, and splashed, and crawled around the tub. He thought it was great fun to hit the side of tub because of the loud noise it made.
After the bath we read a quick story, and then off to sleep
